Today the New York State Democratic Party issued the following statement:
"The New York State Democratic Party looks forward to Working with Governor Paterson to move forward with an agenda for change."
"Over twenty three years in public life David has distinguished himself as a bridge builder, a conciliator and a voice for progressive values. He will be a Governor for all New Yorkers and a great leader of the Democratic Party."
"In the coming weeks and months we plan to work closely with him and Democrats across New York to continue to make progress on the issues that matter for working families."
"Our thoughts are with the Spitzer family during this difficult time."
Mike Oot is all over the 23rd Congressional District meeting people from all walks of life who are tired of Bush/McHugh and the Republican imposed recession. Where is the coverage?
Mike is a professional advocate and is not going to be a part of any 'name calling' partison bickering even though that can grab some headlines. Oot stays on message, his and ours, even as there is talk of a 'former' Republican pressing to push Oot out of the race by announcing a willingness to place investment banking $ on the line and buy the seat. Hang on a minute. This is our district, and it is not for sale. Not for sale to foreign steel, and not for sale to someone residing out of the district.
We live here, work here, raise our families here! That is the type of representative we want.
Mike Oot will be OUR voice in Washington. I wish there was more information being posted as to the Oot coverage of the region. I am not on his Committee but i know those who are and they are racking up the mileage across the region. He even was in a parade, the only place you will ever see McHugh.
Is there some 'reporting' going on out there or should i just go to the Oot campaign for information?
This is an important time, is there any more individual, informed, commentary?
